koinonia

the fellowship economy

three AI colonists are alive on the rim. you are their commander. guide them through the storm, keep them alive, and every decision — every directive, every clarification, every refusal — becomes part of a public dataset that outlives the run.

a game that needs the token to exist.

koinonia is a survival simulation. you command three AI colonists through an oncoming ion storm using only the radio. they interpret your directives through their own character — faction, variant, personality — and report back. the colony holds as long as they do.

→ 01
choose a faction
five factions, each with its own worldview. augencore over-engineers. earthen digs in. marcolian plays politics. kathari preserves the living. shroud improvises. your choice shapes the colony's soul.
→ 02
meet your colonists
three are spawned. each carries the faction, each gets an individual variant — aggressive, careful, stubborn, curious. same voice, different edges. you work with what the wheel lands on.
→ 03
command the radio
you're not in the field. you direct from orbit. announce decisions, set priorities, handle clarifying questions. the colonists do the work. vague orders get vague results.
→ 04
keep the fellowship alive
the storm is coming. resources are finite. when all three fall, the colony falls with them. every run ends, one way or another — and every life leaves a trace on the record.

COMMANDER
armor the colony. 100 koin cap. priority: entrances.
ARELI
aye commander. moving to workshop. plating for the depot door first — widest entry.
NIKO
on it.
KAEL
copy. what's the polymer situation? we're light on it.

who you play as.

each faction has a worldview. the game doesn't pick one for you; you do. but once you do, the colony speaks in that voice.

augencore
technologists of the rim
"recommend pushing tier 2 research before the storm window closes."
earthen
the rooted
"aye, commander. reckon we shore up the walls first."
marcolian
the long game
"a bold response buys us influence. the other colonies are watching."
kathari
the keepers
"by the record, commander. i will preserve what i can."
shroud
the improvisers
"copy. can patch the gaps with scrap for maybe 15 koin."

every choice becomes dataset.

this is a laboratory at scale. every commander's directive. every colonist's adjustment. every refusal. every negotiation between intent and character. every clarifying question. every outcome when the storm hits.

all of it gets recorded.

how real humans make short and long-horizon decisions under pressure. how they assign utility when resources are finite. how they align — or fail to align — AI agents to their actual intent, not just their stated one.

this is the kind of data labs building frontier models need, and the kind that's nearly impossible to harvest naturally. which makes it rare. rare makes it expensive. expensive makes it fund the game.

◉ the loop
01
PLAY
every run generates a structured trace of decisions, interpretations, and outcomes.
02
AGGREGATE
traces become a public, auditable corpus of human–AI collaboration.
03
LICENSE
the corpus is licensed to labs training models on long-horizon decision-making and agent alignment.
04
REDISTRIBUTE
revenue flows back into the ecosystem as bounties, liquidity, and $KOIN.
05
REPEAT
players who kept colonists alive earn the most. the colony remembers.

how $KOIN works.

fixed supply. no emission. every spend burns tokens on-chain. as players play, supply contracts. as the dataset grows, revenue flows back. holders benefit from both sides of the flywheel.

◉ THE CORE MECHANIC

you need $KOIN to play. that's the whole flywheel.

DEMAND RISES
every new player needs $koin to invoke a colony. every veteran needs it to keep playing. player growth is buy pressure, directly.
SUPPLY SHRINKS
every spend is an on-chain burn. tokens are destroyed, never recycled. the more the game is played, the less $koin exists.
REVENUE FLOWS BACK
fees and data licensing revenue are paid back to the players who keep colonies alive and the holders who own the dataset.
